Envoy hopes IDRO coperate with foreign partners bears fruitIran’s Ambassador to the Netherlands Alireza Jahangiri has expressed high hope for cooperation between IDRO and international partners in the maritime industries to bear fruit.

He made the remarks at the IDRO pavilion on the first day of the Offshore Energy Exhibition and Conference (OEEC), Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

During the visit, Dr. Daliri, IDRO deputy for development of industrial investment, provided details about the organization’s activities, missions, and achievements in the areas of maritime industries and offshore facilities.

The last time Iranian companies participated in the event goes back to 20 years ago, according to the ambassador.

IDRO, the National Iranian Oil Company, and Pars Oil and Gas Company were some Iranian companies which participated in this year’s version.
Offshore Energy Exhibition and Conference (OEEC) is the only dedicated offshore energy event in the Netherlands.

Founded in 2008, OEEC has been breaking records year after year. This annual event is focused on the complete offshore energy industry, from oil and gas to wind and marine energy and was held on 25 and 26 October 2016 in the Europe Complex of the Amsterdam RAI.
The event gives a fascinating group of business leaders, buyers, investors, engineers and other interested parties within the offshore energy sector the opportunity to meet each other in three large halls of the Amsterdam RAI, totaling an area of more than 26.000m2.

This offered a good platform to network and to create new business opportunities. The 2015 edition attracted 11.865 unique attendees representing 86 nationalities.
