NISOC to Seal Several MoUs by mid-December

South Pars Phase 21 platform loaded

South Pars Gas Field Development, Phase 21, PlatformThe platform of phase 21 with the extraction capacity of one billion cubic feet of gas loaded onThursday, 17th of November 2016.

As reported by the public relation of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), Alireza Ebadi, the executive manager of phases 20 & 21 of South Pars announced that the torch of phase 21 platform is lightened after its opening and flowing to the well number one. 4 Units of Persian Gulf Refinery Overhauled

Persian Gulf Gas RefineryFour units of Bandar Abbas Refinery, including the atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Unit, sour water purification unit and Merox Unit, were successfully overhauled by Iranian experts.
The overhaul had been in coordination with the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) and per necessary licenses given. It took 30 days since October 20 to be complete.

Iran, Oman hold joint meeting with Total, Shell, KOGAS on gas exports

gas-refinery-1Directors of National Iranian Gas Export Company and senior directors of Oman Ministry of Petroleum met with the envoys of French Total, British Royal Dutch Shell and KOGAS discussed Iranian project for gas exports to Oman.

Iran: Total signs Heads of Agreement to develop phase 11 of the giant South Pars gas field

total-spgfd-phase-11Paris – Total has signed a Heads of Agreement (HoA) with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) for the development of phase 11 of South Pars, the world’s largest gas field. The South Pars 11 project (SP11) will have a production capacity of 1.8 billion cubic feet per day, or 370 000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The produced gas will be fed into Iran’s gas network.
