Managing Director of Pergas Consortium Colin Rowley says his consortium is ready to invest in Iranian petroleum industry, train workforce and transfer technology.

Managing Director of National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) Bijan Alipour said the company will sign a number of cooperation deals with international partners by mid-December.
Speaking on the sidelines of the signing ceremony of NISOC’s first non-disclosure agreements with the Pergas Consortium in the southwestern province of Khouzestan on Wednesday, the official said besides Pergas, talks are under way with the Polish Oil & Gas Company (PGNiG SA), Schlumberger, Austria’s MNV and Denico Consortium. Managing Director of Tamin Petroleum & Petrochemical Investment Co. (TAPPICO) Mohammad-Hassan Peyvandi says Abadan Petrochemical Co. (APC), which is the oldest polymer company in the Middle East, is to be renovated.

Four units of Bandar Abbas Refinery, including the atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Unit, sour water purification unit and Merox Unit, were successfully overhauled by Iranian experts.
The overhaul had been in coordination with the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) and per necessary licenses given. It took 30 days since October 20 to be complete.

Directors of National Iranian Gas Export Company and senior directors of Oman Ministry of Petroleum met with the envoys of French Total, British Royal Dutch Shell and KOGAS discussed Iranian project for gas exports to Oman.

Paris – Total has signed a Heads of Agreement (HoA) with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) for the development of phase 11 of South Pars, the world’s largest gas field. The South Pars 11 project (SP11) will have a production capacity of 1.8 billion cubic feet per day, or 370 000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The produced gas will be fed into Iran’s gas network.
